Devtober Day 5

Today I spent mostly reading the code in my user interfaces and thinking about how I’m going to accomplish what I have planned next. Before the month started, I made a bunch of wireframe sketch drawings of what the interface will look like when various combinations of things are selected. I took some time to look at them and think about the features I’m going to need to script, as some of the interfaces will try to be aware of how much space there is for things according to screen size. I started a test project to answer some questions I had about what signals to connect to, what methods are reliable for changing a control’s size within a container, and how to handle text font size changing (if that’s going to be a setting). I didn’t actually change any code in my real project today, but I’m confident that I’m on the right track.
